Final Wording is the single platform to create high-stakes documents. It records the author of every character, supports annotating the text with reasons for the phrasings chosen, brings a full-fledged suggestion and comment system, and lets you finalize the document with a gated approval and publish flow. So you always know where the document stands: what passed muster, what is still open, and where and how it differs from previously published versions and why.

We will not pretend it does everything. It supports a small number of things which matter a great deal to people whose work is the words themselves and implements those with extreme precision. For one-off documents or free-form layouts, you’ll be better served by your preferred office suite.

The document lifecycle in one tool

  1. Draft. Start a fresh document or branch from an existing one. Write what is unique for this one, and reuse pre-approved wordings from the workspace.
  2. Review. Invite internal and external collaborators to comment and make suggestions on the document (no extra paid seats needed).
  3. Approve. Get approval from stakeholders, either individuals or anyone from a given department.
  4. Publish. Publish the final document after all approvals are collected. Now it’s ready to be sent out.
  5. Reuse. Create a new document based off of any existing one, or use a previously approved template to get a head start on your next task.

Tracks exactly who wrote what.

Switch authorship on and every passage is underlined in the colour of whoever wrote it — here, the underwriter’s ten-day deadline inside a clause the product counsel drafted, named on hover. A sentence an AI drafted keeps the colour of the person who put their name to it, with the line dashed: somebody is still answerable for the words, and you can still see where they had help.

When another perspective would be useful, loop in a colleague by tagging them in a comment, or ask the built-in AI to review or refine a specific passage.

€99 per author per month, with no base fee and no minimum. Anyone who only reads, reviews, comments, or approves joins free. PDF preview and PDF/Word export in the app are included; final document generation through the Document API is €0.10 per document plus €0.01 per page. AI is billed only when you use it.
